Clockwork Orange Cocktail

This aquavit (or akvavit) cocktail should be a bartender staple. It goes against all the norms and mixes three very different, very bold flavours: Vinland Aquavit, coffee, and Aperol. Though each have such unique flavour profiles, when brought together, are like the perfect ménage à trois. It'll mess with your head and bring your taste buds to their metaphorical knees. While I'm sure any aquavit would do, our award-winning aquavit can't be outdone. The 20 herbs and spices used in our spirit is what add that special something for a unique and memorable cocktail every time. Now, let's go make some memories!

ℂ𝕝𝕠𝕔𝕜𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕜 𝕆𝕣𝕒𝕟𝕘𝕖

1 oz Vinland Aquavit

1 oz French-press coffee (chilled) or cold brew coffee

1 oz Aperol

0.5 oz Simple syrup

4 dashes orange bitters

2 dashes chocolate bitters

Garnish: Orange peel

Shake all the ingredients together in a shaker tin, and then strain into a your favourite cocktail glass with ice. Feel free to garnish with an orange twist if you have one.

The nice thing about this cocktail is that it is easy to scale since the core 3 ingredients are all equal parts. This rich drink is perfect for after supper chats or cosying up with a book and a blanket. Enjoy!
